Ok...so... You know how Romans 8: 22 says " For we know that all creation has been groaning as in the pains of childbirth right up to the present time". I've read it but it was just kind of like...HELLO!!!!!
Further down in verse 28 it says "And we know that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to his purpose for them"....which I have read, and recited, and sang 100x over(You make all things work together for my good)! Yes all of a sudden, it became the most literal, concrete statement to me. (Which it already is...but I'll explain).
I did a Bible study the night before and we were on the subject of how you are meant for something. Basically, you have a destiny and a purpose and desires. God created you with those things.
Think about when you desire or want something so bad. I'll break it down to a person. Say you have an amazing relationship with someone, be it family or whoever, and you haven't seen them in a while. You start to miss them. Your heart becomes so weighted by the desire to see them. It's almost like there's a tugging in your heart saying I just miss them so much I have to see them.
Now, flip it to the other side. The other person is missing you just as bad as you are missing them. Because you have that strong relationship, this person has become a part of you.
Now...let's do the math! Putting these 2 together. Because of your strong relationship with God, you've built these desires for His purpose in you. Those desires are so strong that it is a part of you because of that relationship. It's your heart beat and just as bad as you want, it also wants you. It misses you because it is a part of you. Just as bad as you want to get to your point B, it is being pulled your way (through prayer and the building of your relationship). So ALL of creation (EVERYTHING) is working, and laboring, and pushing to birth you into your destiny/purpose/calling. All things are literally working for your good! All creation is trying to deliver you to the very thing that God created to be a part of you, for you to do.
Just a thought and encouragement so that you know that when you're so tired of being at point A and knowing point B but not how to get there. Be patient because God has all of creation working to push you into your placement and every time you pray and speak it, you pull closer to you, what is already missing you!
